What can I do with my PC?

Most people who buy a PC know exactly what they want to do with it. Many people buy computers so that they can type reports, manage their finances, setup and email account, search the internet, etc. In this day and age, having a computer in the home is a necessity. If you know exactly why you bought a computer, you will probably have an easier time getting started. Your best bet is to start with your main purpose and move on to new skills later when you are comfortable.

The internet is one of the most important reasons to own a computer. Imagine being able to research just about any topic you can imagine without leaving your home? Or communicate with thousands of people from all over the world through email, forums, instant messaging and more? How about talking to people from other countries without paying long distance?
